What to Expect...#2

Well that's that. It's almost a year since we went on our 3 month SE Asia trip and I've finally finished writing about it *pats self on back*. As big of a weight to have been lifted off my shoulders finishing is, I must now answer the ultimate question: WHAT TO DO NEXT

Before I get into that though, I need to just take a moment to be soppy (do excuse me, if you don't like mush please scroll down). It's unbelievable to me that I am actually asking myself what to do next on my blog. I was so embarrassed to start blogging and when I wrote my first post, I thought there were only two ways things could go:

1) Nobody ever reading it apart from myself and becoming so embarrassed I would need to delete all traces of it ever being on the internet
2) Giving up too soon, forgetting about it and then stumbling across it again one day in the future and becoming so embarrassed I would need to delete all traces of it ever being on the internet

Never did I imagine I would actually finish writing about our WHOLE trip (even if it did take me a year). I've got to be honest, I'm pretty proud of myself and I really don't say that often. I just reread my first ever post What to Expect... and I'm not embarrassed at all, I'm so so happy I decided to start this. Thank you so much to everyone reading, I really never thought anyone would be interested in me and knowing you've stuck with me all the way through my travel stories is just awesome <3
(ok mush over)

So what can you except from Just a Kidd in the future, well:
  • Travel: obviously I love travelling and I will continue to document whatever adventures I may go on (although I am a broke-ass uni student so bare that in mind and don't expect too much)
  • Veganism: once I joined University I decided to go vegan and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. I would love to write about veganism more in an positive and educational way (no hate though, hence the use of the word positive)
  • Cruelty-free beauty: I'll be honest and say beauty blogging ain't really my bag, but other blogger's cruelty-free posts have really helped me find some amazing products and I would love to do the same for other people
  • Animals and the Environment: anyone that knows me knows I'm a mad Eco-warrior and saving the planet is something I am hugely passionate about. I would love teach you ways the help our amazing world
  • Miscellaneous: all that other lovely blogger like lifestyle, tags, books, uni, recipes etc etc etc
...yeah all that basically

Thanks so much for sticking around, I hope you continue to do so

Lon x
